Senior Ministry

Our Senior Pastor places a strong emphasis on the connection between mind, body and spirit in working with the Senior population of the community.  Generally, the Senior Ministry Team serves in the following ways:

• Liaison / Referral Agent
• Educator for Health & Wholeness
• Volunteer Trainer
• Advocate
• Health Minister

The Senior Ministry Team is also another pair of eyes and ears for our appointed pastors, often listening and/or counseling when doing visits to someone's home or to a care facility and works with the entire family.

Health Screenings such as blood pressure checks are often done on a regular basis. Annual cholesterol screeenings and flu shots are also offered.  For more information or to volunteer with this ministry, coordinated by the Health Care Ministry Team, contact Kathy Wood.
